FROZEN CHERRY LIMEADE

These simple ingredients play exceptionally well together in a frozen cocktail feature for valentines day!  The subtle vanilla sweetness of Bourbon and the tartness of cherry especially love each other.  This recipe is easily batched using our Top Hat Margarita Batching Mix as a limeade base to balance lime, sugar, & acidity!

SINGLE INGREDIENTS 5 GAL KEG FORMULA
1.5 OZ BOURBON OR WHISKEY (or alcohol-free spirit) 5 LITERS
.5 OZ TART CHERRY JUICE (or half as much Cherry Puree) 64 OZ
1.5 OZ TOP HAT AGAVE MARGARITA BATCHING MIX 5 QT BTLS
3 OZ WATER 7.5 QTS
GARNISH CHERRIES & FRESH MINT GARNISH


FILL FROZEN BEVERAGE MACHINE TO APPROPRIATE FILL LINE (USUALLY 2 - 2.5 GALLONS)

  • We recommend batching in 5 gallon cornelius kegs to keep batches fresh and sealed easily, however they are not the ideal vessel to lift up over a frozen cocktail machine to refill the hopper at that height.  Some people prefer to batch frozen batches in 20 qt cambro containers with a lid.
  • Once the formula is batched accurately, shake or stir the batch thoroughly mixing the settled ingredients from the bottom up over the top for 2 minutes
  • RE-STIR OR SHAKE the batch thoroughly for 1 full minute before refilling the frozen machine
