The Pathfinder Mule is a fully zero proof mule on draft — 6 bottles of Pathfinder hemp and botanical spirit, Top Hat Ginger Beer Syrup (original or extra spicy, your call), an optional shot of fresh lime, and carbonated water. CO₂ pressurized for that bright, effervescent mule character. No alcohol. All the complexity.
Pathfinder is a hemp and botanical non-alcoholic spirit with real complexity — earthy, herbal, slightly bitter. It pairs exceptionally well with ginger beer. Use Original for a classic mule character; go Extra Spicy if the program skews toward bold flavor and heat-seekers. Fresh lime juice is optional but adds brightness.
Batch Method
- Add 6 × 700ml bottles of Pathfinder to a clean 5-gallon Cornelius keg.
- Add 3 qts Top Hat Ginger Beer Syrup (Original or Extra Spicy).
- Add 16 oz fresh lime juice if using.
- Add 10 qts cold filtered water.
- Seal the keg and shake vigorously side to side for 2 full minutes.
- Pressurize with CO₂. See instructions below.
- Refrigerate minimum 8 hours before first service. Overnight preferred.
- Serve ~6 oz over ice. Garnish with sliced citrus and fresh mint.
- Check carbonation level daily and adjust regulator as needed.
Pro tip: Position this on your zero proof or mocktail menu — it's one of the most convincing non-alcoholic keg programs you can run. Pathfinder's botanical complexity means guests don't feel like they're "missing out." Fresh mint garnish is a must — the aromatics complete the drink.
- Seal the keg and shake vigorously for 2 full minutes.
- Connect black Cornelius "gas in" connector to GAS IN plug on keg lid.
- Set CO₂ regulator to 10–12 psi.
- Pull up pressure release ring 2–3 times to cycle gas through keg.
- Let sit refrigerated 4+ hours to fully carbonate before service.
- Test carbonation level before service; adjust psi if needed.
